A kayaking trip is the perfect way to truly feel the rhythm of the great river — its ever-changing colours, moods, silence, and timeless calm. Depending on the season and the water level of the Danube, we select the most suitable and exciting route for you. From the water, you’ll enjoy beautiful panoramic views of Tutrakan and its surroundings, as well as both the Bulgarian and Romanian riverbanks. The route may take you past Radetski Island, the Pozharevski Islands, scenic river channels, and golden sandbanks where you can step ashore for a walk on the fine sand. If you bring your swimwear, we’ll be happy to show you the best spots for wild swimming in nature. Our longer routes lead to the protected area of Malak Preslavets Marsh — the Kingdom of Water Lilies and white-winged terns. We also offer many other options, covering different sections of the Danube as well as the Yantra River. Throughout the journey, your guide will introduce you to the world of the Wild Danube — its rich birdlife and plant diversity, fishermen’s stories, local legends and fascinating facts, and the life along the river, flowing continuously from the past into the present.
